Our wedding day was truly one of the most magical days of my life—the kind that makes your cheeks hurt from smiling and your heart feel like it might burst from joy. I married my best friend, surrounded by the people who matter most to us, in a place that felt like it was made just for that moment.
After months of planning, list-making, DIY-ing, and dreaming, everything came together beautifully—and miraculously—without a hitch.
There are far too many amazing photos to squeeze into one post, so if you want to get a peek at the love, laughter, and behind-the-scenes joy of the day, feel free to explore our WEDDING GALLERY.
A Little Help from Mother Nature
As anyone planning an outdoor wedding knows, weather becomes your full-time obsession. In the days leading up to the big event, we were glued to our weather apps, nervously watching a rollercoaster of forecasts that threatened rain. And in Cincinnati—where the weather has a personality of its own—you never really know what you’re going to get.
I had taken a chance, skipping the standard white event tent in favor of the open air. I wanted a true garden wedding, framed by nature itself. Thankfully, Mother Nature showed up in style—not a raindrop in sight when it mattered most, just soft skies and a light breeze that made the whole day feel like a dream.
Moments That Flew By
People always tell you how fast your wedding day goes by. And you nod politely… until you live it. Then you realize they weren’t exaggerating—the day flew by in a blur of hugs, happy tears, champagne toasts, and pure joy.
We thoughtfully planned each part of the day, building up to a truly grand finale: the WEBN Labor Day Fireworks show, a Cincinnati tradition that lights up the sky every September. We timed it just right, and as we stood hand-in-hand with our guests under the starry sky, watching 30 minutes of dazzling fireworks burst over the Ohio River, it felt like the city itself was celebrating with us.
It was the perfect end to a perfect day, one we’ll treasure forever.
